Colorado Could Become the "Napa Valley" of Mead
Did you know Colorado has 4 meaderies and one winery making
a mead? We know you're a fan of Redstone Meads. We encourage
you to also get to know the other meaderies including good friends
like Medovina Meads (www.medovina.com) in Niwot, Colorado
and Spruce Mountain Meadery in Larkspur.
Saturday, August 7 is National "Mead Day"!
The American Homebrewers Association (AHA) Mead Day is a
national event to help increase camaraderie among home brewers
and mead makers and introduce or reintroduce the mead making hobby.
Each year on the first Saturday in August, home brewers around the
nation invite friends and family to celebrate by making mead.
For the official recipe and more information visit http://www.beertown.org/events/meadday/index.html
